Beth served in the Georgia General Assembly from 2015-2019. During that time, she was the only Republican out of the 236 members of the General Assembly who lived within the city limits of Atlanta.
Beth served as Assistant Attorney General in the Georgia Department of Law in the Medicaid fraud and abuse division before leaving her position to run for the Supreme Court of Georgia. In that election, Beth earned more than 1 million votes statewide and broke conservative candidate records—namely in the Metro Atlanta region, where in Fulton County alone she bested her opponent by more than 19 points.
